Just when I get used to a lull in seasonal allergies, the next season gets underway. Summer is on its downhill run, which means our relief from spring allergies is about to be overrun by fall allergies.
I have a bit of an early warning system in predicting this trend as my daughter is like clockwork with spring and fall allergy symptoms. The good news- nutritional protocols I implement for her during these seasons work. As my early warning bell is beginning to quietly ring, I thought I would give you all a heads up.
So for those of you who suffer from fall seasonal allergies – now is the time to begin your nutritional protocol to reduce/ eliminate your reactions. Management is always much easier when you prepare before symptoms are raging.
A few tips:
- Start removing foods from your diet now which aggravate your seasonal allergen reaction(s).
- If you utilize nutritional supplements for anti-inflammatory and/or anti-histamine properties, now is the time to restock and have them ready, so you can begin taking them according to your protocol.
- A nutritional detox is a great way to clear the body and can reduce severity of your reaction to seasonal allergens. Remember, the immune system is greatly influenced by both GI health and toxic load. A nutritional detox is a great way to restore your body to a balanced state so the immune system is relaxed when exposed to those fall allergens. If you’ve done a nutritional detox before you may want to do so again, and if you have not, you may want to give it a try.
