An initial consultation with Cindy is a 90 minute complete nutritional assessment. Prior to your consultation, you will be asked to complete and return a detailed nutrition and health history, in order to maximize your face-to-face consultation time. In your consultation, Cindy will listen, ask questions and assess your unique needs. She will outline a specific functional nutrition protocol designed to move you toward your health and wellness goals. This protocol may include nutrition, supplement and lifestyle elements. Your protocol will not count calories or weigh food, it will instead be designed using simple to follow foods to avoid and foods to include guides which are customized for you – you will eat real food, no packaged or liquid diets.
Follow up appointments are 45 minutes and include a detailed review of what is working well for you, and what is not, so that together we can make changes. Always with the goal of helping you be successful.
As your health and wellness improves, your nutrition protocol may need to be modified. Often an initial protocol is implemented to achieve a health goal, followed by a maintenance protocol. As well, more complex nutrition protocols are often implemented in multiple phases to allow the body and the mind to adjust, which results in much better compliance and results long term.
Cindy encourages slow, steady and lifelong changes which promote true health, rather than fast and temporary results. She also encourages lifestyle elements to support the energetic balance of your whole body such as yoga, meditation and allowing ourselves more time outside in nature.
